Million Dollar Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1/3 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided

  • 6 slices bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled

  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion, divided

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Description

  1. Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken in the prepared baking dish. 
  3. Stir together cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl until combined. Stir in 1/2 cup of the Cheddar cheese, bacon, 1/4 cup of the green onions, and Italian seasoning. Spread evenly over the chicken. 
  4. Bake until chicken is done (165 degrees F or 74 degrees C) when tested with an instant-read thermometer, 25 to 30 minutes.
  5. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake until cheese melts, 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with remaining 1/4 cup green onions.
